1) The type of media and specifications
2) Product name/model
3) Type of trouble
4) Detailed information

  1. Do you want to protect the data stored on the problematic computer tape? (Can data be overwritten?)
  2. Whether we are permitted to conduct a destructive inspection. (Cartridge cannot be reused)
  3. Do you want us to return the problematic computer tape or do you want replacements?
  4. About how long did you use the problematic computer tape?
  5. Name of your backup software, including manufacturer, drive, including manufacturer, and operating system.
  6. How long have you been using the media drive?
  7. How often do you clean the media drive?
  8. Does the same trouble occur when you use other media with the same drive?
