This could occur because the cleaning tape has reached its usage limit of 20 times. If this is the case, use a new cleaning tape. If the cleaning tape has not been used 20 times, clean the drive again with the same tape.If the lamp remains on after the drive has been cleaned a second time, eject all computer tapes from the drive, turn off the drive's power and restart the drive. If the problem continues after performing these steps, it might indicate that the cleaning tape is unable to remove dust from inside the drive.Please contact the manufacturer of the drive if this occurs.
